Film & Video

The First Virginia and its members have participated in a number of film and video productions. Since 1975, the recreated Regiment has been asked to star in, or lend its expertise to the making of educational documentary productions, as well as television mini-series and Hollywood blockbusters like "The Patriot." Today, the First Virginia and its members are available as technical and historical experts for similar projects.

The First Virginia Regiment also has approximately 20 hours of master footage and 50 hours of special dubs and edited video that is available to production companies in need of footage pertaining to the Revolutionary War and it's soldiers.
